Joseph Gallo

Joseph Gallo, 83, of, of Akron Ohio went to rest in the arms of Jesus December 9, 2014. Joseph was born in Akron, Ohio on January 8, 1931. Joseph retired from Goodyear after 42 years of service. He volunteered at the Haven of Rest. In his free time, he enjoyed motor cycles and camping with his family. He is survived by wife, Mary Gallo; daughter, Linda (Danny) Campbell, son, Denny (Helga) Gallo, daughter, Carol (Ken) Bunch, and son, Mark (Juanell) Gallo; grandchildren, Adam (Shannon) Campbell, Holly (Erik) Raita, Daniel (Sarah) Campbell, Brandon (Heather) Gallo, Tera Gallo, Vance (Jessie ) Gallo, Carrie Crowe, Leah Bunch, Emily Bunch, Mariah Gallo, and Elliana Gallo; great-grandchildren, Alex, Allison,Nova, Mia, Morgan,Nick, Jaida, Isabella, Myca, Caiden, Johnny, and Baby AJ. Family and friends may call on, Friday, December 12, 2014 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a short service at 7:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 13 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Victory Parish, 73 North Ave. Tallmadge, Ohio 44278 with Rev. Fr. Mike Matusz celebrant. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Akron General Visiting Nurse Hospice or Haven of Rest in Akron.
