Joseph B. Blair 82, went home to be with the Lord on July 14, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Akron, OH. He served in the US Navy for 5 years during the Korean War. Joseph retired from Ford Motor Company in 1983. He was a member of New Horizons Christian Church and loved his church family. He enjoyed camping, working with wood, and family gatherings. He also enjoyed meeting friends for coffee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Donald Blair. Joseph leaves to cherish his memory loving wife of 59 years, Donna; children, Craig (Donna) Blair; Sheri Lamanna; grandchildren, Ashley and Anthony Lamanna, Craig A. Blair; siblings, Mable Schilling, Robert Blair and Donna Kimmel; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday July 25, 2015 at 1pm at New Horizons Christian Church 290 Darrow Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Pastor Jim Bane officiating. Family will receive friends from 12-1pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Horizons Christian Church.
