Joseph A. Williams I

Joseph A. Williams I, 60, went home to be with the Lord on February 22, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of the Akron area. Joe enjoyed spending time with his children and working in his garage. He was self-employed as an auto mechanic for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by parents, Joe and Mary Kathryn Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 40 years, Katherine; sons, Joseph II (Kim), Andrew, and Christopher (Bobbie); daughter, Sara; 9 grandchildren; sister, Christine (Danny) Blais of Vermont; and a host of other relatives and friends. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 3-5pm. Funeral mass will take place on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 11am at St. Paul Catholic Parish, 1580 Brown St. Akron, OH 44301. Father Pfeiffer officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joseph's name to Newcomer Funeral Home.
