Joseph A. Adamo, 78, went home to be with the Lord on August 11, 2015 where he was reunited with his son Jim, his mother Mary, his father Nick, brother Paul, and many more that went before him. Joe was born on February 8, 1937 and retired from Babcock and Wilcox in 1997. Joe's greatest joy was when he was surrounded by his family. If that time was on the water in his boat, all the better.
The memory of his love shines through in those he leaves behind. His best friend and wife of 58 years, Rosemarie; his daughters, Shelly and Sharon; sons, Vince and Tony (Spring); his grand kids, Ryan, Sarah and Christopher; sister, Theresa (Gary); and sister in-law, Cindy.
A Memorial Celebration Mass will be held on Friday August 14, 2015 at 11am at Nativity of our Lord Jesus 2425 Myersville Rd. Akron, OH 44312. In honor of Joe's memory, donations may be made to the church.
A special thank you to all the good Samaritans and Medics for assisting with your care and concerns.
