John Allen Walker, 73, of Akron, passed away on November 21, 2023 at Akron General Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Akron, he was born on November 13, 1950 to the late Joe and Phyllis {Gorman} Walker.
On July 1, 1978, he married Josie {Carlile} Walker. She survives, along with their son Daniel J. (Samantha) Walker and daughter Holly Walker; grandchildren Ezra and Dolan Walker; brother Jeff (Tami) Walker; sister Pamela Walker; nieces and nephews Charlie, Heather and Kallie.
John retired as a Lieutenant for the Akron Fire Department.
A Celebration of John's life will be held on Friday, March 22nd from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Akron Firefighter's Local 330, 161 Massillon Rd.
