John Hylton, 81, passed away November 4, 2009 after a brief illness. John is survived by his wife, Judith; children, Patricia Lingel, John Hylton, Jr., Maxie Selander, Darrell Hylton and Shean Hylton; step-children, Amy Kelly, Aron Davis and Adrian Davis; 4 sisters; 5 brothers; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a memorial service will follow with Rev. Ray Hylton officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Summa.
