John McClaskey, 46, passed away suddenly on August 9, 2018. He loved spending time with his family, was a jack of all trades, and operated his own business as an electrician.
John was preceded in death by his father, Terry Sr.; step-mother, Jo Ann; and sister-in-law, Jennifer. He is survived by his lifelong partner of 27 years, Penny; children, Johnathan (Miranda), Joshua, Jenna; grandchildren, Lilyahna; mom, Susan (Ken) Herchenroeder; siblings, Laurie (Mark), Terry Jr., David, Amy (Billy); mother-in-law, Nancy (Kerry); father-in-law, Michael Clifford; sister-in-law, Novella (Joshua) Gillmore; and brother-in-law, Michael Clifford Jr..
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 6-8pm at the Ancient Order of Hibernians, 2000 Brown St., Akron. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the family.
