John J. Fox

John J. Fox, 66, passed away on April 12, 2026. He was born on December 11, 1959 the son of the late John and Rosemarie Fox. John graduated from Archbishop Hoban High School with the class of 1979 and then attended Akron University. John worked at Akron Standard Company and took great pride as one of the top mold polisher. He was a man of faith and was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church. He had a gentle heart and was always willing to help others. John enjoyed fishing with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Michael P. Fox; and nephew Michael J. Fox.

John is survived by his brother Willard "Bill" (Joan) Fox; sister Mary (Brian) Riemenschneider; beloved "Granny" Mary Ricks; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Celebration of Mass will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, April 21st, at Visitation of Mary Catholic Church (55 Broad St., Akron 44305)

Inurnment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
