John E. Hughes, 62, of Mogadore, passed away at his home surrounded by family and friends by his side on November 12, 2012. He was born in Columbus, OH on January 29, 1950 to the late Jack Hughes and Lolly Powell.
John was a very successful business man starting Majestic Motors in 1979 and Majestic Trailers in 1996. John loved to travel, but most of all, John was dedicated to taking care of his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Penny; son, Johnny of Green; grandchildren, Ryleah, Chase and Leighton; several nieces and nephews; brothers, Skip (Barbara) and Rick Hughes, both of Columbus, OH.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, November 15, from 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 1:00 p.m. at his home with Rev. Max Williams officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer
