John A. Cornwell, 58, of Tallmadge, passed away October 14, 2014. He was born in Akron on January 17, 1956. John will always be remembered for his sensitive soul and good heart. He was very kind and devoted his life to his daughter, who considered him to be the sweetest, best daddy in the whole world. He played the guitar and his love of music is now shared by her. John was preceded in death by his father, Paul Cornwell.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved daughter, Sydney Slonsky; mother, Jeannie Cornwell; lifelong best friend, soulmate, and mother of their only child, Shae Slonsky; siblings, Bonnie Ward, Tim Cornwell, and Brenda White; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A private service will be held on Sunday to celebrate John's life.
