Joemane Treonte Harris, also known as “Gotti Gunz”, peacefully departed this earth on May 31st, 2026.
Joemane opened his big beautiful brown eyes on February 24th, 1999, a blessing to his parents, Samone Cody and Willie Harris.
There was never a dull moment in the presence of Joemane. He attended Akron Public Schools. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He had a special connection with the youth. All kids loved him. He touched countless young lives raising, teaching, mentoring them.
He was most known for his unwavering ambition and deep love he had for his family. He loved to joke and laugh, his favorite was corny Dad jokes. If you were in the presence of Joemane, he either was talking your ear off or cussing you out, either way you knew you were loved. He was very charismatic and charming. He loved to shower all the women in his life with compliments. He loved football and played in his youth. He would often describe himself as the “GOAT” in the sport. He also loved music and food, often creating his own sauces and recipes. Joemane left an impact on everyone in every room he entered. Unforgettable he is.
He is preceded in death by father, Willie Junior Harris; grandparents, Willie Cox & Rose Marie Mitchell; great uncle, Donald Cody; favorite cousin, Ronald S. Turner; bestfriends, Javonte Mills & Richae R. Anderson.
He left behind to remember him and continue to spread his love, his mother, Samone Cody; sisters, Jamica Cody & Aniya Harris; brothers, Willie Harris & Harmoni Harris; grandparents, Willie Harris Sr. & Mamie Lane; aunts, Bobbi Cox, LaMika Cody, Jeanetta Harris, Maretta Hamilton; uncles, Willie Cody & Thomias Davis; great aunts & uncles; an abundance of cousins that he loved dearly; a host of special friends, you know who you are.
Joemane will truly be missed.
