Joel Edward Ohse

Joel Edward Ohse, 71, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on September 20, 2025. He was born on March 12, 1954 to the late Charles and Dorothy {Hogbin} Ohse.

In addition to his parents, Joel was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law David Bragg and David Cooper and one of his dearest lifelong friends Larry Nipper.

Joel is survived by his loving sons Jason, Brent (Karen) and Robb Ohse; siblings, Joyce Bragg, David (Sandy) Ohse and Janice Cooper; niece, Janice (Stan) Andrus; nephews Matthew Bragg and Michael Ohse; grandchildren Jared Ohse and Brandon Ohse; great-niece Janelle Andrus; great-nephews Russell Andrus, Michael and Vincent Ohse; many cousins; dearest lifelong friends Bruce Stevens, Lew Snodgrass and Brad Parker.

Joel worked at Vincent's Bakery in junior high. After moving to Florida, he worked at Orlando Newspaper, then Charlie Chip's as a driver. Joel finally retired from MSC Industrial Supply Company.

Joel was a lifelong Browns fan, but the warm Florida weather called him down to enjoy the salty air on the daily. He also loved a good comedy, classic '50s and '60s cars, and always had a Volkswagon in the garage. Joel loved hanging out with his friends and family as often as he could. He will truly be missed by all those who love him.
