Joanne K. Neal, 85, went to be with the Lord on October 20, 2014.
She was a member of the Akron Grandmother's Club and Concordia Lutheran Church. Joanne was the matriarch of her loving family and will be forever missed by all.
Preceded in death by her husband, Tom S. Neal, Sr. and son, Samuel V. Neal.
She leaves children, Marcia, Sandra, and Thomas, Jr.; grandchildren, Amy, Angie, Edy Jo, Alicia; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Mason, Mitchell, Ethan, and Nolan; and sister, Janet.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 31, 2014 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 724 Sumner St. Akron, OH 44311. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
Joanne's motto: "Ever onward, ever forward, never backwards."
