Joan M. Wiley

Joan Marie Wiley, 92, of Brimfield, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 24, 2026. She was born June 12, 1934 in Postboy, Ohio to Walden and Mary Walters. She was a faithful attendee of Faith Bible Fellowship for many years. Above all, Joan loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bennie Wiley; brothers, Bernard (Helen), Jack (Gloria), Waldon (Ann), Wallace (Florence), and Roland Walters; sisters, Gwendolyn (Carl) Osler, Winifred (Harold) Brown, Barbara (Al) Hanson, and Shirley (Jerry) Lepre.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Patricia (Robert) Kantorowski, Anna (Don) Lexa, Robert (Kim) Wiley, and Richard (Heather) Wiley; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Pat (Gilford) Rice; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday July 29, 2026 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Newcomer, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron. A funeral service will take place at 1:30pm. Joan will be laid to rest with her husband at Restland Cemetery.
