Joan G. Robinson (Nee Ross)

Joan G. Robinson (nee Ross), 74, went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2015.
She was born in Akron on April 30, 1940 to the late Wayne and Ila Ross. Joan enjoyed reading and the Cleveland Indians, but her family was her greatest joy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include her beloved and devoted husband, John, of 56 years; daughters, Cheryl Bland, Betty Bishop (Nick), and Jennifer Brock (David); grandchildren, Misty Thorpe, Nicole Kling, and Dillon Brock; brothers, Jack (Roseann) Ross, of Minnesota, and Bill (Judy) Ross, of Brimfield; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, 12 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
