Jill L. Warner

Jill L. Warner, 57, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2018. Jill was born in Streetsboro, Ohio on June 25, 1960 to the late Abe and Betty Lauterer. Jill graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent, Class of 1979 and married her loving husband on May 26, 1984. She most recently worked as a receptionist at FitWorks Fitness Center in Stow. Jill was a dedicated foster parent for Portage County for 10 years, helping raise over 50 foster children. Her love of animals was evident through her time spent showing horses and volunteering for Save A Mom Pregnant Dog Rescue. Her most recent passion was spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jill was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Densmore.

She is survived by her husband, Michael D. Warner; children, Ashlee (David) Green, Kaicee, Bryson, Kolton (Whitney Jones); grandchildren, Va'Shaun and Brayden; sisters, Jan, Faye, Darc and Patti; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Private graveside service will be held at Melscheimer Cemetery in Pike Township, Ohio. A memorial gathering will be announced by the family at a later date. To leave a special message for the family online, please share a memory below.
