Jill "Charli" Swagler

Jill "Charli" Swagler, 64, of Akron, passed away on October 5, 2025. She was born on January 15, 1961 in Salem to the late Donna {Metz} Whitman.

In addition to her mother, Charli was preceded in death by her father Richard Whitman.

Charli is survived by her husband Michael McQuillen; children Jeremiah Swagler and Justiene (Joshua) White; grandchildren Kiera White, Xander White, Leonardo Swagler, Isabella White, Anastasia White, Joshua White Jr.; step-grandson Teddy Mallow Jr.; great-granddaughter Harlynn Mallow; siblings Cindy (Bob) First, Kathy Schehl, Susan Witherspoon, Paula Cutchall, James Cutchall Jr., Tina Whitman, Richard Whitman Jr. and their families.

Charli was known for her kindness and warm spirit. She was the glue that held her family together. Her memory will always be held closely by those who love her, especially her beloved grand-babies.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Monday, October 13th from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service that begins at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ben Flanagan officiating.
