Jerry Wilson

Jerry L. Wilson went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2014. He was born in Dayton, TN., moving to Akron at an early age. Jerry was a Vietnam veteran, and served in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer. He was an avid hunter, mechanic, and an amateur stock car racer. He was preceded in death by parents; Clyde and Dorothy Wilson, and brother; Bill Wilson. He leaves to cherish his memories, loving wife of 47 years; Martha, son; Clayton Wilson, daughters; Cindy (Matt) Mellon, and Sherry (Bob) Zook; grandchildren; Jake and Shelby Mellon, special friend; Bernie Minnick and family, and a host of other relatives and friends.
