Jerry Lee Stubblefield, Sr.

Jerry Lee "Bones" Stubblefield, Sr., 68, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2014.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and fishing, and watching baseball and football. Jerry was a member of the Portage Lakes F.O.E. and #555.
Preceded in death by parents and daughter, Lori Dillon. Survivors include beloved wife, Charlotte, of 37 years; son, Jerry, Jr. (Crystal); daughters, Dawn Mason (Russ) and Kelly Stubblefield (Tim); stepson, Marty (Diana) Thornton; stepdaughter, Patty (John) Doulilis; grandsons, Justin, Cory, and Kyle Mason; granddaughter, Alicia Dillon; step-grandchildren, Harley and John; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Blum; and stepsister, Sandy (Bill).
Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at Akron City Hospital for their care and support.
Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-5 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
