Jerry Lee Garrett

Jerry Lee Garrett, 79, passed away peacefully May 1, 2025 with family by his side. Born in Akron, Ohio to Harry Lee and Margaret (Posey) Garrett, he resided in Mogadore most of his adult life. Jerry was a proud Veteran of the U. S. Army and he retired from the City of Akron, where he served as Police Lieutenant. He enjoyed keeping his lawn in pristine condition, coaching baseball and spending time with his family.

Jerry will be sadly missed by his wife of 45 years, Susan; son, Jeff (Heather); granddaughter, Morgan Lee; siblings, Debbie (Gary) Drexler, John (Kathy) Garrett.

Per Jerry's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services at this time. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Jerry's name to the Mogadore Fire Department/EMS.
