Jennifer Rene Sofranko

Jennifer Rene Sofranko, 68, of Akron, passed away on August 31, 2026. She was born on May 15, 1958 the daughter of the late John and Marjorie Sofranko. Jennifer graduated from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School with the class of 1976. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Akron. Jennifer was a member of St. Vincent Parish. She retired after many years of dedicated service from Noble Davis.

Jennifer studied Martial Arts under Master Tony Yang and she achieved a Masters Honor after many competitions even traveling to China to compete. She continued to travel with friends and family to the Philippines, Mexico and Canada having many adventures living life to the fullest. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor, infectious laugh, and the love she had for her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother J. Ralph Sofranko.

Jennifer is survived by her loving family, siblings, Leslie Elliott, Nora (Ed) Jones, Lisa (Mike) Richardson, and Jacob Sofranko; close friends Cindy Haugh and Ann Evans; cousin "sister" Christine Byrne; nieces and nephews Marc, Samantha, Brandi, Derek, Jon, Maddie, Nick, and Alex; great nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and beloved friends.
