Jennifer A. Croft

Jennifer A. Croft, 51, of Akron, passed away on July 13, 2026. She was born on February 26, 1975, the daughter of the late Donald and Sandra Leasher. She worked for many years at the Essex Nursing Home and Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital. She was a devoted member of Atwater Community Church, where she found great joy in serving others. She especially cherished the times spent sharing God's Word with children through Sunday School.

Jennifer was a remarkable individual whose presence brought warmth and light to all who knew her. She was known for her appreciation of flowers and their beauty, which reflected her gentleness and her ability to brighten the lives of others. She enjoyed crafting, was an avid Browns fan with her husband, loved cruises, and valued time spent with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Jennifer is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Rocky L. Croft; son Austin (Zac) Kozma-Croft; brother Jason (Debbie) Leasher; uncle Dan (Carol) Bunn; nephew Jacob Leasher; stepsister Melissa Cannizzo; stepsister Alicia (Jim) Easterly; stepmother Lana Leasher; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Tuesday, July 21st, at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron), where services will be held at 1:00pm with Pastor Simon Horn officiating.

Interment will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park.
