Jeffrey K. Bittner
October 20, 1953 — February 4, 2017
Jeffrey K. Bittner, 63, rode home to be with the Lord, and his father, Clifton "Buzz" Bittner and sister, Janie Bittner Pack, on February 4, 2017, due to complications of multiple sclerosis.
Born October 20, 1953 in Akron, he was a graduate of Springfield High School in 1971, then enlisted into the US Air Force. After an honorable discharge, he moved to Michigan where he lived most of his life.
Jeff loved the outdoors, Ohio State, Cleveland Browns, Nascar, and most of all, riding his Harley Davidson. Jeff was a member of the Army-Navy Garrison #273 in Lakemore, Ohio.
He leaves behind his two cherished daughters, Keely Joy Bittner and Tristan Lynne Bittner, and a loving granddaughter, Bailey. He is survived by his loving mother, Virginia Bittner; sisters, Joy (Roger) Pressler, Joanie (Rick) Wright; brother-in-law, Joe Pack; nephew, Ricky Whitmyer; nieces, Kayla Wright and Megan Pack; great nephew, Zack Whitmyer; great niece, Maddison Whitmyer; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and devoted caregiver, Cedrick Richardson.
In honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be any services at this time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home-Akron.
