"Randy", Jean R. Scott II, 59, of Akron, Ohio passed away of natural causes Saturday, January 28, 2017.
Randy was born in Copley, Ohio to Jean and Vaughan Scott on June 7, 1957. He graduated from Copley High School and served in the United States Air Force where he was Crew Cheif for Kilo Flight. He worked for the Goodyear Airship Operation and transferred to Tire and Testing supervisor. He was with Goodyear for 24 years. Randy lived life Large! … And, he lived it with his whole Heart. It was without limits and so was his personality. With Randy, it was always others first - he had such a giving heart. No matter if you were family, friend, coworker, stranger or someone in need…you were #1. Randy was the Master Magician conquering anything electrical, mechanical or structural. But what will we remember and miss most ? Those Santa Claus twinkling eyes! … quick laugh and entertaining others. PS: Der Dutchman just lost their most passionate customer!
Randy is preceded in death by his son, Michael R. Scott and father, Jean R. Scott.
Randy is survived by his beloved children, Sabrina (Michael) Foster, Jennifer (Jeff) Janickas and Jason Scott; mother of his children, Marge Gerber; his mother, Vaughan Scott; his fiancé, Lisa Newnham; sisters, Kim (Todd) Newnham and Carli Reardon; grandchildren, Peyton and Parker and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss Randy dearly.
Calling hours will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on February, 2, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fairlawn, Ohio.
