Janice M. Brown

Janice M. Brown, 77, of Akron, passed away September 19, 2014. She was born in Buchannon, West Virginia on May 29, 1937 to the late Bernard and Bessie Wilfong. Janice was a good-hearted, spirited woman who often catered to the needs of others.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brown and five siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Robert) Demastus, son, Terry Kellenberger, special friend, Diane Currey and her children; Joshua, Alyssa and Andrea, honorary sister, Donna Nottingham, six Grandchildren, nine Great Grandchildren and her beloved cat, Alice.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm following visitation. Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park in Fairlawn.
