Janice K. Williams, 69, passed away on January 3, 2015.
She was born on August 7, 1945 in Wadsworth to the late William and Gladys Kreger. Janice was a resident of the Barberton area for most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and reading.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Williams. Survivors include her daughter, Sherri (Brian) Brown; grandchildren, Mindy (Paul) Anderson and James (Jasmine) Williams; great-grandchildren, Brooke Ware and Michael Williams; sister, Sharon (Nick) Genis; and special friends, Don Williams and Becky Billman.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, 1 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St. Alexandria, VA 22311.
