Janice Marie Jones

Janice Marie Jones, 73, passed away July 30, 2026 after a brief illness. Born in Akron, Ohio to George and Jennie (Monte) Woodbur, she resided in the Akron area most of her life. Jan enjoyed reading, watching movies, solving puzzles and spending time with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Trudi Jones, Janill Jones; grandchildren, Brandon (Megan), Andrew (Robin), Matthew, Corey, Michelle (Sean); 8 great grandchildren; sister, Desnay (William) Lohrum; nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

There will be no formal services. The family will have a celebration of Jan's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Jan's name to the charity of their choice.
