Janet M. Beachy

Janet M. Beachy went home to be with the Lord and reunited with her husband on October 7, 2015. She was born in Akron, OH to the late Carl and Leona Bobo. She was a devoted member of Community Baptist Temple. Janet loved and was loved by everyone she came into contact with. She was a foster parent for many years and was known for the wonderful dinners she catered. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great- great grandmother by the example she lived.

Janet was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dan; son, Robin; granddaughter, Tara; and son in-law, Rick. She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Karen (Ray) Timms, Lynne (Stan) Roach, Cheryl Thompson, Melody (Mickey) Hicks, Jan (David) Vance, Beth (Chuck) Shilling, Orvan Jr. "Chip" (Stacey) Beachy, and Laura (Mike) Bisel; 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Holl; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday October 9, 2015 from 4-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Funeral service will be held on Saturday October 10, 2015 at 12noon at Community Baptist Temple 1370 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Pastor Mark O'Donnell officiating. Interment Glendale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church in her name.
