Janet C. Haidet

Janet C. Haidet, 81, of Akron, passed away on May 14, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Kittanning, PA on August 8, 1944 to the late Robert and Harriet Sample. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Janet was survived by her children, Danny (Linda) Haidet and Tammy (Louis) Hilderbrand; grandchildren, Amanda (Derek) Burton, Barbara (Joshua) Lowery, and Rebecca (Stephen) Cornell; great-grandchildren, Josie, Jacie, Oaklee, and Caleb; brother, Raymond Sample; sister, Mary Sample; sister-in-law, Virginia Haidet; niece and nephews; and her cat, Cali.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ronald B. Haidet; daughter, Kimberly Haidet.

Per Janet’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services.
