Janet F. Arrowood

Janet F. Arrowood, 65, went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2014. She was born on July 1, 1949 in Akron to the late Russell and Edna Grubaugh.

Janet was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She loved everyone she met and her standard greeting was "I LOVE YOU!". Janet will always be remembered for her love of dancing and music. She enjoyed the outdoors and spent much of her free time hunting, fishing, and camping. She was a great cook and made wonderful chocolate cake.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her grandson, Nathaniel Ray Arrowood. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Danny Ray Arrowood Sr.; children, April (Michael) Lucas and Danny Ray (Emily) Arrowood Jr.; brother, Russell (Barbara) Grubaugh Jr.; sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Boylen (Daniel); grandchildren, Brittany (Steven) Kisha and Brandon Lucas; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 3-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Webb officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
