Janel Westover Gaylord, 54, went home to be with the Lord April 25, 2013. Born in Akron, Ohio May 29, 1958 to Wayne and Claudia Westover.
Janel was a loving and devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed collecting Victorian antiques and traveling. Above all, she was a woman of faith, and had a love and passion for serving her church.
Preceded in death by grandma and grandpa Crawford of Canonsburg PA; grandma and grandpa Westover of Akron Ohio; sister Veronica; and nephew Walter.
Survived by husband Tom and son Thomas Gaylord; brothers, Teddy and Robert; sisters, Claudia and Evelyn; 22 aunts and uncles; 7 nephews and 6 nieces.
A celebration of her life will be held on April 29, 2013. Friends will be received from 10 am to 11am at Cornerstone Church, 578 Killian Rd. Akron, OH 44319 where the funeral service will immediately follow at 11am. Donations may be made to Cornerstone Church in lieu of flowers.
