Jamie Lou McColley

Jamie Lou McColley, age 45 of Akron passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 20th, 2026. A lifelong resident of Akron, Jamie was born to the late Henry and Janice {MacDonald} McColley.

In addition to her parents, Jamie was preceded in death by her siblings Butch McColley, Tyra Krim and Channon Schulte, brother-in-law Roger Knapp, father-in-law William Alford, a.k.a. "Paw-Paw".

Jamie is survived by her love, Dewan Ray; children Bradley McColley, Brandi McColley, Autumn Huston and Dawonna Ray; grandchildren Zaylee Spangler, Amelia Spangler, Braylon McColley and Isaiah Wood; sister Chastity Knapp; brother Floyd Keisner.

Jamie was incredibly outgoing, and loved to be out and about. She was an animal lover, especially her dogs. Jamie was a selfless and compassionate person, a hard worker, and a family woman through and through. She loved her family more than anything, especially her grand-babies.

Jamie was always able to bring a smile to the faces of everyone around her. She will be deeply missed by all those who love her, and never forgotten.
