James P. Sporck, Jr., "CJ" or "Jimmy", age 44 of Ravenna, Ohio, died unexpectedly in Akron on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 3:12 PM.
He was born in Ravenna on January 14, 1972, the son of Julia Angebrandt Sporck of Ravenna, Ohio and the late James P. Sporck, Sr.
CJ was currently employed as a truck driver at Step2 in Streetsboro for the past 24 years. He enjoyed dog training, grilling, and being in nature.
Other than his mother, James is survived by his wife, the former Kristy Ann Watson, whom he married on July 30, 2010; his daughter, Krystina Sporck; his siblings, Erick (Karen) Sporck, Maryann (Daniel) Ferguson, and William Sporck; two step-brothers, Ryan Ward and Craig Ward; his aunt, who helped raise him, Patricia Galloway; his cousin, Anthony Scott (Kathy) Galloway; his wife's mother, Penny (Ed) Feathers.
Other than his father, Jimmy was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Lila Redburn Angebrandt.
Funeral services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at 3:00 PM, where Bishop Jeremiah R. Harris will celebrate James' life.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Akron Police Department, Attention: Canine Unit, 217 South High Street, Akron, Ohio 44308 in James' memory.
