He was born on March 18, 1952, the son of the late John L. and Sarah (nee Curry) Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM at City of Joy Church, 610 West Exchange Street, Akron, Ohio, where Pastor Mayceo Smith II will celebrate Boot's life.
Family and friends may visit at the church on Monday one hour prior to the service.
