James Robert Feathers, Ii

James Robert Feathers, II, 50, went home to be with the Lord on April 2, 2013. He was a lifelong Akron resident and resided in Goodyear Heights. He will be remembered as a generous individual with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing guitar, cooking, and spending time with family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his brother, Danny Bromelow; father, James Robert Feathers; grandpa, Gene Howell; and his daughter, Amanda Feathers. Survivors include his mother, Darlene Feathers; loving uncle and aunt, Billy and Carol Howell; children, Danny Feathers, Shalee Feathers, Timothy Feathers; sister, Evelyn (Lindy) Vesa; brothers, Robert (Dawn) Bromelow, Johnny Feathers and Scotty Feathers; loving companion of 18 years, Venessia Louderback and her children, Josh, Jason, and Tiphany; grandchildren, Danny, Alyssa, Timmy, Nyia, Tommy; and many nephews and nieces.

Calling hours will be Monday, 2-4 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a funeral service to follow at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
