James R. "Jim" Boal, 62, passed away on January 21, 2014.
Jim retired from the US Postal Service after 38 years of service. He also worked part-time at KC's Dugout, acting as Kenny's "right-hand man".
Preceded in death by his parents, Christopher and Margaret "Peg" Boal; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; son, Shawn; daughters, Christi (Jeff), Kelly, Sara; stepchildren, Kelley, Ruth, and Nicholas; many grandchildren; brother, John (Georgene); favorite sister-in-law, Roberta Confere; and many other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be Monday, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jim's family or to a charity of one's choice.
