James O. Risner Jr.
James O. Risner Jr. 71, passed away suddenly on July 3, 2015. He was born in Pikeville, KY to the late James and Byrtle Risner. James was a proud veteran in the US Army. He retired from ITW (Akron Standard) after many years of service. He was an amazing person with one of a kind heart. No one was a stranger because he was willing to make everyone his friend. We are thankful that he is in a better place and we are not crying out of hopelessness because we will see him one day.
James was preceded in death by parents; and sister, Pat Eldreth. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandra; daughter, Dawn (Ross) Risner-Cunningham; two grandchildren, CJ and Kacie Cunningham; sister, Linda Risner; and many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday July, 10, 2015 at 7pm at 3992 Greenbay Dr. Barberton, OH 44203. Eulogy given by Tom Hensley.
