James "Mike" McFadden

James "Mike" McFadden, 61, passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2025. Born in Akron, Ohio to James and Wilma (Burton) McFadden, he had resided in Windham, Ohio during the past 20 years. Mike was co-owner of Golden Rule Roofing for 33 years. He enjoyed golfing, collecting and rebuilding vintage Oldsmobile Cutlass hot rods, being out on the open road and listening to rock and roll music.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Brian McFadden. He will be sadly missed by his siblings, Ron (Sherri) McFadden, Kelly (Jerry) Duhme, Randy McFadden; best friend and business partner, Bryan Fagen; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, December 29, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Mike's name to the charity of their choice.
