James L. "Jim" Kavali

James L. "Jim" Kavali, 75, passed away peacefully at home October 22, 2025 surrounded by his family and best friend, Buddy. Born in Akron, Ohio to Frank and Ruth (Black) Kavali, he was a lifelong area resident. Jim graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1968 and retired from Pipefitters Local 219 in 2006. Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Jim enjoyed golf, biking, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.

Jim will be sadly missed by his wife of 34 years, Linda; children, Kimberly (Mike) Evans, Keith (Nikki) Kavali, Jason (Melissa) Kuchnicki; grandchildren, Tynan, Torrence, Kasey, Kensington, Charli, Ramzi, Quinn, Mara, Dayla; great grandsons, Cameron, Theo; siblings, Sandy (Larry) Boyd, Jeff (Brenda) Kavali.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of Jim's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Jim's name to the cancer charity of their choice.
