James W. Grubbs, 66, passed away May 30, 2021 surrounded by his family. Born in Akron, Ohio to James and Eva Jean (Hayes) Grubbs he was a lifelong area resident. Jim previously worked for the Ken-Tool Company and he belonged to the Mogadore Moose lodge #1082. He was a U. S. Army Veteran who enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, James A. Grubbs; sister, Yvonne Grubbs. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Dottie; children, Joe (Christy), Brian (Tiffiane), Angie (Jerry); grandchildren, Steven, Brianna, Joey, Kayla, Carlee; mother, Eva Jean Grubbs; siblings, Paula, Norma (Desiree), Charles (Karen); close friend of 30 years, Kenny Humbert; special dog companion, Prince; many nieces, nephews and friends.
The Celebration of Jim's Life will take place Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Mogadore Moose Lodge #1082, 4095 Mogadore Rd., Mogadore, Ohio 44260.
