James C. "KY" Fuson

James C. "KY" Fuson, 87, passed away March 17, 2026. Born in Barbourville, KY to Richard and Nora (Young) Fuson, he resided in Akron, OH all of his adult life. James enjoyed gardening, working around the house, woodworking and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Marian; siblings, Ethel Marie Fuson, Nancy Hardy, Marjorie McHale, Chester Fuson. He will be sadly missed by his children, James E. Fuson, Trudy Barker, Stacy Fuson; grandchildren, William "Bill" Fuson, Justine (Jason) Clark, Laura Beth Fuson, Mikelann White, Jimmy Fuson Jr, Clayton Barker Jr; great grandchildren, Rylee Clark, Brigitte White, McKenna Clark, Korbin Clark, Henry Fuson, Harrison Fuson, Christian Fuson; sister, Edith Frank.

Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
