James F. "Jim" Davis

James Francis Davis, 62, of Tallmadge, passed away on October 4, 2024. He was born in Akron on February 3, 1962, to the late Jerome and Constance {Cossin} Davis. 

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother John R. Davis.

Jim is survived by his loving siblings, Monte (Nahed) Davis, Peggy (Patrick) McDowell, Terry (Darrell) Kirby, Joe (Kristen) Davis, Michael (Erica) Davis, Eileen (Andrew) Herrlinger; son Matthew Davis; a grandson; several nieces and nephews. 

 Jim was an avid fan of all Cleveland sports, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was the famous "Jimmy D" of the East High School 1982 basketball team.
