James E. Strong, 63, passed away on March 21, 2015.
James was born in McKeesport on February 12, 1952 to the late Theodore and Alta Strong. He had been previously employed at Burt Greenwald Chevrolet as a technician. He enjoyed working on cars, fixing up his house with his wife, and taking care of his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of 36 years; daughters, Sabrina (Jason) Norman, Heather Strong, and Cheryl (Benjamin) Hollenbeck; grandchildren, Jayce, Bella, Connor, Sacorah, Morgan, Logan, and Katie; and several siblings.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
