James E. Bell, 85, of Akron, passed away April 22, 2014. He was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on October 5, 1928 to the late James and Eloise Bell. Jim retired from Saga Foods, Inc and later worked at the Akron Auto Auction. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during wartime.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Bell, granddaughter, Alaina Ord, and sister, Jean. Jim is survived by his children; James Bell, Scott Bell, Tara (Robert) Sostakowski, Whitney (John) Ord, and Brett (Kim) Bell, 10 grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Private family services will be observed.
