Jacques D. Mcgregor Jr.

Jacques D. McGregor Jr., age 52 of Akron passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. He was born on December 10, 1969, a son of the late Jacques D. McGregor Sr. and Barbara Ann {Hill} Baker.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his son Rayshawn McGregor and brother Kenneth Jones.

Jack is survived by his sons Justin Robertson, Devaun Hamilton and JaVon Hamilton; grandchildren Justice Robertson, Erés Robertson and Dalani Hamilton; stepmother Paulette McGregor; sisters Tamiko Richardson, Marnetta (Garland) Paynther, Shayla McGregor and Paulette (Antrell) Ware; brother Blese (Maryland) Richardson III; sister-in-law Stacy Jones; aunt Honey Bell; special cousins Tony Baker, George Johnson Jr. and Marcus Lindsey; special friend Ron Mayle and a host of beloved family members and friends.

Jack was currently employed as a receiving doc coordinator at Hi-Way Distributing Corp. He was loving, loyal and made sure we all had a sense of family instilled in each one of us. He was loved by all he encountered with his infectious smile and high spirited sense of humor. He never met a stranger.

All are invited to visit on Friday, July 22nd at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Peace Cemetery, where Jack will be laid to rest.
