Jacquelyn A. "Jackie" Dennison (nee Main)
Jackie Dennison, 59, of Akron, passed away on July 3, 2014. She was born in Cleveland on October 6, 1954 to the late Fred and Regina Main. Jackie proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, earned a Master Degree in counseling from Troy State University, and was employed by the City of Akron. She was an active member of Concordia Lutheran Church and had a gift for music.
She will be deeply missed by her son, Mark "Junior" Dennison; siblings, Lynne (Charlie) Caldwell, Roger (Sue) Main, Leslie (Chris) Main, Susan "Beth" Charlillo, Kathryn Main, and Eric Main; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, July 7, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with visitation for one hour prior at Concordia Lutheran Church, 724 Sumner St., Akron, OH 44311, Pastor Robert W. Tauscher, Jr. officiating. Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Rd. in Twinsburg at approximately 12:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hattie Larlham Foundation, 7996 Darrow Rd, Suite 10, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
