Jack S. Tripp

Jack S. "Red" Tripp, 80, of Akron, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015. Jack was born in Akron, Ohio on May 16, 1934 to the late Hugh and Genive Tripp. Jack retired from General Tire after 24 years of service. He was a member of Home Missionary Baptist Church for many years. In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janet; sons, Ricky and Ronnie Tripp; sister, Elizabeth York. He is survived by sons, Steven Tripp and David Tripp; daughters, Susan (Frank) Lee, and Malissia Lloyd; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; brothers, Tom Tripp, and Don Tripp; sister, Betty Hodges. A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Home Missionary Baptist Church, 1922 Oaks Ave. Akron, Ohio 44312 with Pastor Keith Emhoff officiating. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Home Missionary Baptist Church in Jack's name.
