Jack Huff Jr., 93, of Akron, let the work I've done speak for me, he lived because he had a charge to keep and a God to glorify. He departed this life November 21, 2018. He was born May 14, 1925 in Loverns, West Virginia to the late Jack and Leona Shankin Huff. He was reared by his late grandparents, Edward and Rosie L. (Gore) Shanklin in Loverns, West Virginia. Jack worked as a foundry worker, creating molds for 35 years. After retiring, he did school crossing until fallen health issues. He was a member of St. Temple Ministry.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Bell Huff (Hankins); and sister, Leona Augusta Huff.
He will deeply missed by, his six children, James Walter Huff, Jack Huff Jr. II, Michael A. Huff, William P. Huff, Raymond Wayne Huff, and Carolyn L. Huff; sister, Pearl M. Hamby of Princeton, West Virginia; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; cousins, church family, and friends; and a special friend, Sister Ruth Martin.

Friends and family are welcome to Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, on Friday November 30, 2018 to visit from 10am until 12pm. A funeral service will take place at 12pm. Interment to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
