Iris N. Pyle
Iris N. Pyle, 81, of Akron, passed away August 24, 2015. She was born on February 9, 1934 in Phillipsburg, Pennsylvania to the late Luther and Mary O'Shell.
Iris took great care with her home and was a wonderful cook. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who could always cheer her up with their visits.
In addition to her parents, Iris was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Franklin; and her sons, Patrick and Rick Pyle. She will be deeply missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Donald Tarle; daughter-in-law, Gay Pyle; brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Sally O'Shell; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, August 31, 2015 from 12-1 followed by a 1:00 p.m. funeral service with Rev. Curt Jones officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron.
