Ida M. Springston
Ida M. Springston, 82, went home to be with the Lord on April 29, 2015. She was born in Flemington, W.V. on October 21, 1932. She was a faithful member of Springfield Baptist Church. Ida enjoyed bowling, and was also active in her TOPS group. She loved spending time with her family.
Ida was preceded in death by parents, Evert and Covey McDonald; her first husband, Lawrence Haught; and 5 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by husband, George G. Springston; 5 children, Larry (Cindy) Haught, Alice Sprietzer, Tom (Arlene) Haught, Ronald Haught, Denise (Dave) Hardman; 2 step-children, George S. Springston and Brenda Graham; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host other relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday May 3, 2015 from 4-7pm and funeral service will be held on Monday May 4, 2015 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Pastor Larry Baldridge officiating. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park.
